Moving Forward!

Hi lovely readers,

Good news!! I am looking towards the future and starting new with my blog!  I am personally creating a new custom design website for future posts (YAYYYY!!!).  I want to personalize my articles as much as possible and give you guys the posts you deserve, which is not 100% available here on tumblr.  I’ve finally got all of my design programs installed on my computer as well as a stylist, photographer (both ah-mazing friends of mine) and a few other connections I’m super super excited to collaborate with :)

I will be taking a short break - hoping to have it up and running by next Friday with a new direction focusing more on fashion designers, models and events here in LA - so don’t be discouraged if you don’t hear from me as often until that time comes. 

Please keep an eye out for my new site! You guys have no idea how fantastic it’s going to be!!!!

Boast of Quietness

Writings of light assault the darkness, more prodigious than

Focusing on the innovative and experimental use of wool, British design studio not tom fills an entire room with a forest full of colorful wool trees. Literally.  150 sticks were collected and wrapped with wool then placed into paint cans filled with various colors of dye.  The wool was then dampened which allowed the ‘tree’ to draw the dye via capillary action and naturally form a coloured gradient.  

The idea behind the installation was to re-create the natural movement of water travelling up a living branch while also displaying a reinterpretation of traditional dyeing techniques. Pretty nifty experiment and one-of-a-kind piece of art!
